How to Activate your Coaching Business

Once you’ve identified your calling, your vision and your beliefs for your coaching practice, it’s time to ACTIVATE ! Here are a few things to consider to successfully launch and grow:

Align

Design your coaching package(s) and workshop(s) that are in alignment with your vision and beliefs. Create exercises and personalized experiences that will guide your ideal clients towards the outcomes they are expecting. Develop activities that anchor your concepts in meaningful ways.

To activate your coaching business, you need a plan!

Plan

Create a 30-day plan for your activity. Gather your lists of people to contact. Determine where you will spend your time. Where will you find your ideal clients? Which events will you attend? What is your plan for rolling out your programs and letting others know what you are doing and who you serve? Develop routines for administrative work, marketing, networking and other income producing activities. Commit to yourself and your potential clients to continue moving forward in creating your coaching practice.

Share

Seek feedback by sharing your vision with others. Coaches need coaching! Sharing your values and beliefs with mentors and your support team will secure them in your own mind and heart. They can help you review and make necessary changes as needed as your business evolves.

Communicate

Integrate your vision and beliefs into all aspects of your branding – from your website to social media, to how you talk about your services when out in the market place. Everything should reflect your core values, who you serve and how you work with them. You are your business’s best advertising!

Develop stories to share about your clients’ successes. Collect testimonials and use them in your marketing. These become your “case studies” that highlight how the success of those who have worked with you.

Build community in order to activate a thriving coaching practice.

Build

Build or create community. Online or in person, you are responsible for building your reputation as a coach and business owner. Write articles, record videos and memes to post on your social media profiles so that you can be seen. You will begin to attract those who need your services and want to know what you offer. Inspire those around you with your stories and the things you share.

Evaluate

Pause periodically and evaluate where you are in your coaching business. What is working and what is not? Return to your vision statements from the beginning. Are you still aligned? What has changed? Where do you need to make adjustments? What obstacles need to be reviewed and mitigated? Utilize your mentors and support team for help and consider obstacles as opportunities for growth and learning.

Celebrate

Remember to celebrate successes and milestones! Managing and growing a successful coaching practice takes time and energy!

By actively living out your calling, vision, and beliefs, not only do you create a cohesive and compelling coaching business, but you also attract clients who resonate with your message and philosophy. Remember, consistency between what you preach and how you practice is key to building trust and a strong coaching practice.
