Video Content

In 2020, the average American adult watched nearly 3.5 hours of TV and nearly 2 hours of video content on their phone! Today, video must be part of your overall marketing strategy if you want to grow a thriving coaching practice. Here are some ideas to expand your video content:

Creating Content

Create video content by live streaming or by uploading pre-recorded video. Take a longer recording and break it up into smaller clips for easier consumption. In today’s world, your content must be clear and concise — and short!

Some social media platforms even give live video a higher priority than uploaded video. Your best platform is the one where your potential clients are checking in and the one that you will use.

Video Content

Creating video content is a must for coaches.

StreamYard for Streaming

One of our favorite live streaming platforms for creating video content is StreamYard. They offer the ability to stream live to multiple platforms at the same time. You can also bring multiple guests into the broadcast in a  talk show format. The ability to rebroadcast previous recordings is a real bonus. Adding your own branding and importing graphics into your video is easy and highly professional. (Disclaimer: we might earn a commission if you follow the link and join!)

Zooming

Many of you are familiar with Zoom for online meetings. With this platform, you can also create video content to be uploaded later. It’s great for do-overs because you can record and record until you get it right. Upgrade your account to add additional streaming options.

Going Live Takes Guts

It takes guts to go live, where every wrinkle might show and every mistake can be seen. Does anyone really pay attention to the little imperfections in a live video? Not really. Sometimes, you just have to make it up as you go!

Coach creating video content

Creating video content is professional in today’s environment.

Give Them What They Want

As you grow in experience, you will start to get clear on what your audience really wants. Soon, a structure will form organically and it will get easier. You can start by using your cell phone, or your virtual coaching platform tools. Plan several shows out before you begin so that you feel prepared and confident.
